This replacement dryer heater element is made to fit a variety of for Frigidaire, Kenmore, Sears dryers. This heating element works when a switch on the motor turns on the heating element, which begins to heat the dryer. When the dryer reaches a pre-set temperature the heating element is turned off. When the dryer temperature falls then the heating element turns back on and heats up the dryer. This cycle repeats until the clothes are dry.
